Jim Butcher meets Claire North in this brutal modern Italian retelling of the story of Peter Pan, now in English for the first time.
The finest modern fantasy you'll read this year.
Across the sprawling metropolis of Rome, children dream of an island that doesn't exist.
A mad spirit knocks at the door, eager to enter. Anarchy, destruction, and extreme emotions nourish it.
Magic, once lost, is returning, and in the skies above the city children clash with pirates while deities old and new fight for dominance of Rome. Below, the population moves on, oblivious while Rome watches and steels herself for the bloodshed to come.
And the people will learn that the Flesh is coming, and it's coming for them.
PAN is the story of a transgressive, brutal god and the patron of those who choose to live outside the rules.
