Julia Cameron, bestselling author of The Artist's Way, has a terrible fear of flying. Each time she is faced with the prospect of air travel, her mind races and her heart cries out, "No, I can't go!" In the wise and comforting volume, Safe Journey, Cameron shares the prayers, tools, and strategies she uses when traveling in order to overcome her fears and to enjoy the excitement that accompanies all of life's great adventures.
Employing travel as a metaphor for all of the potentially frightening journeys we take in life-be it a cross-country flight or the journey to a new destination in life-Cameron takes readers by the hand, offering techniques that will enable them not only to rest easy for the duration of the trip but to feel exhilarated by the anticipation for whatever awaits them at the end of their travels.
Full of the wisdom that has endeared her to readers everywhere, Safe Journey is a slim little volume that will provide a world of comfort and inspiration for readers as they navigate life's journeys.
