I found this novel through a link from Facebook. With the words "it's stronger than Edichka" I sent it to my friends. Writers are offended by comparisons to others, so I will say this: this is a generational novel. The generation of thirty-somethings, crushed by Russian reality, destroying everything alive and unlike the mainstream. It is a must-read.
I spent the entire first war year thinking about setting up a free publishing house. After reading Springfield, I realized that such novels and such authors needed this publishing house. If not Freedom Letters, then who? Contract number one was signed with Sergei. It is with this book that we begin.
