About

Swami Vivekananda was a young Hindu monk who brought the glory of Indian culture and spirituality to the world. His speech at the World Religion Conference held in Chicago in the year 1893 is still remembered. He created a unique identity of India through that speech. From the age of 25, Vivekananda wore only ocher-coloured clothes. Before traveling the world, he had traveled all over India on foot. He had said in the earlier part of his life that he would not live beyond the age of 40. And so shall he followed, he died at the age of exactly 39 years. Vivekananda's most revered life mantra was - get up, wake up and do not stop until the goal is achieved.
