Swamp Jesus is a story about a young man coming of age. Dillon is raised in a single parents household in rural Louisiana surrounded by social economic inequality and the dark side of substance abuse. He dreams of breaking free and moves to Nashville, when invited by a friend. In this new city, he uses his love for music to establish new roots, find, love and maybe success in the home of country music. It isn't as easy as it sounds. Dillon has to deal with a culture he is unfamiliar and tragedy always follows close behind.
I enjoyed reading Swamp Jesus. The characters took lives of their own and I could hear your voice describing each scene. - Angela G.
Another great story. A backwoods boy with a passion for music...you think Dillon will never made anything of his life, but with the help of true friends... - Charlie S.
