Tangled Webs

William Roberts survived a world war that impacted even the strongest of minds. Unlike the others, who returned home with their share of ghosts, he returned with something more. Finding a new occupation and building a new life took determination and some luck, but after a dead body is found brutally attacked by a mysterious animal, the life that Roberts had been establishing gets turned upside down. Faced with difficult decisions and a past that will not remain buried, the household of Whittaker Manor will leave a broken man in his shattered remains, or it will finally give him the restoration that his soul so desperately needs, and he is not the only one.
