In a world fueled by hustle and cutthroat competition, God invites Christians to a different path-a path where He is the CEO and Christians are called to live like Jesus.
American work culture says do more, make more, be more. But the striving, the creating, and the achieving never seems to end. Instead, the process becomes overwhelming and unachievable. But God has given Christians a different commission-one that will lead you into cultivating and fulfilling your calling in service to him.
In “The Commission”, influential leader and speaker Chauncéa encourages you to look beyond the paycheck and the annual performance review to see that you have been placed in your job to impact the world for God's Kingdom. You have been called to reflect Jesus and express God's love within your work.
Using Jesus's life as a model, Chauncéa guides you on a journey to:
• submit to God as your CEO • allow God to train, refine, and certify you in Him • strategize Your Course of Action • surround yourself with a strong council • understand and maximize the cycles of work • identify and flex your God-given gifts
As you aim to follow Jesus in heart and character, you'll realize that every virtual meeting room, uber ride, or café becomes an opportunity for someone to meet Jesus and get know him through you. Your workplace becomes the Great Commission.
