Narrated by the peerless Adam Barr, the first three Pax West thrillers by Scott Medbury and Christopher Cartwright now in one volume.
At four, Pax West nearly killed another child. Neurologists found the part of his brain governing emotion, morality, and empathy was missing - doctors doubted he'd survive to adulthood; some doubted he should.
DARPA's Dr. Alan Kepler saw a weapon instead. Raised for duty, Pax became a Navy SEAL at eighteen, then a CIA ghost at twenty-four - a man erased from records, sent on missions that officially never happened.
Now that they've built the perfect weapon though, how do they control him?
This collection includes:
SCORCHED EARTH
When the man who created him betrays the country Pax was built to protect, Pax faces an impossible mission. To prevent World War III, he must hunt down his former mentor - and save the very enemy he has been ordered to kill.
NOTHING TO LOSE
On the run with a new identity, Pax West is looking for a place to start over. The catch? He's just been framed and arrested for murder. Stranger still, why is Pax - a man wired with no emotions and seemingly incapable of empathy, considering risking everything a help a total stranger?
CARIBBEAN WRAITH
The Caribbean Sea is perfectly still.
No land. No ships. No hope of rescue.
Dehydrated, delirious, and drifting alone beneath the blazing sun, Pax knows he is dying. Of all the ways he imagined his life ending, this was never one of them.
But for Pax West, surviving the ocean may be the easy part.
Three relentless thrillers. One lethal operative. No rules, no limits, and nothing left to lose.
Ideal for fans of Brad Thor, Lee Child, Mark Greaney and Brad Lee.
