About

This audio course teaches English-speaking children the basics of the Thai language of a series of 28 sessions together with review materials.

Content covered includes frequently used words and phrases that young learners can quickly put to use. Music, sound effects, games and review activities are used across a diverse set of narrators to keep the content engaging and help it stick. Topics covered include, greetings, counting, colors, numbers, animals, foods, places, parts of the body, adjectives and many other. Later in the course basic sentences are taught building on the range of vocabulary acquired earlier in the series.

This is an ideal way to build language understanding with a particular focus on speaking and comprehension. Whether you are planning to visit Thailand or have a cultural link to the country this is an ideal way to give your children a firm grasp of the language with a about a month of frequent practice, and review materials to revisit periodically to help retention.

The course is specifically targeted at children with a focus on vocabulary that they will use frequently, however adults listening along may learn something too.

Historical Audiobooks produced hundreds of language courses for both adults and children, with a focus on underserved languages and the tools to help specific groups learn exactly what they need to communicate effectively.
