If the cold reactions of Wild and the quad are anything to go by, then the coven can never discover what I am. Even though I've uncovered the demon king's sinister plans and the truth about the supernatural game this coven plays, I must leave the knolls. Bizarrely, the place I came to for answers has become home. Hope. Community. I nearly fell in love here. Now the mating ritual with Wild feels like another excellent reason to leave. Yet when so many impossible things have already happened, I have to wonder about the size of the storm ahead... and whether lightning will strike for a third time.
