John Thompson, or JT as he christened himself, is in over his head. Failed relationships, drink, drugs, devastated finances and many other bad decisions leave him with no choice other than to run away. As the pressure reaches a crescendo he does it, he runs away. In his case just by staying on a train which ends up in Cornwall, here in beautiful Kingsand Cawsand, he thinks he will able to simply start again, many miles from the chaos he caused and the people who want to find him. Unfortunately the mess he left behind is looking for him, as are the police after a case of mistaken identity leaves a colleague dead.
