About

Voted Best Screenwriting Seminar
– Freelance Screenwriters' Forum
Step right up and write your best screenplay. Here's your step-by-step guide to writing AND selling to the movies and TV. SCREENWRITING FOR HOLLYWOOD offers the highlights of Michael Hauge's acclaimed two-day, intensive screenwriting seminar. Finalist in AudioWorld's Golden Headsets Awards for Best Self-Help/Inspirational Audio.
If your passion is writing screenplays, Hauge offers one of the better workshops. Organized, insightful, and market driven, he wastes no time talking about art and wisely, beyond a certain point, doesn't encourage originality. The author understands that most screenplays that sell to Hollywood are akin to blueprints for tract housing. It's a mark of our culture that so many writers would rather churn out the great American screenplay than produce a novel. "One of the few authentically good teachers out there. Every time I revisit my notes, I learn something new or reinforce something I needed to remember."
– Jeff Arch, Oscar-nominated screenwriter, Sleepless in Seattle

He has taught screenwriting at UCLA, USC, and the American Film Institute, and has presented his two-day intensive screenwriting seminar to more than seven thousand writers and producers throughout the United States, Canada, and England.
