She escaped her arranged marriage and found her passion and purpose through skateboarding. Today, Asha is a strong voice for all the girls in her village of Janwaar – and far beyond. "Before the skatepark started, I was very different. I didn't know my own voice. I couldn't talk to anyone. I couldn't even make eye contact with anyone. I never made any decision on my own – only my family members would decide what is good and what is bad for me. This has changed completely when the skatepark came to my village. I've found my voice.
