About

Two chrono-terrorists - the far future anarchist called Malcontent and twenty-fifth-century billionaire Peter Piernitowski - menaced all of history with duplicates of themselves, wreaking havoc throughout time, empowered by an ancient threat called the Infernal Authority. All but one of these doppelgängers were captured by a plucky but partially untrained team of time-tossed troops - Czarist era spy Paulina Popova, abolitionist rebel Cherry Turner, former Roman centurion Gaius Equitus Brutus, Mayan athlete Smoke Jaguar, all supervised by former Department of Motor Vehicles clerk Prunella Jones. The final duplicate popped up as the Time Corps (working out of the headquarters of the Department of Timeline Continuity, The Last Minute, a skyscraper held in chronal stasis one minute before the end of the universe) wrestles with the office politics of the Celestial Bureaucracy and the return of the wounded Director Alexander Kronus.
