"So, I'm busting my butt, humping up this stupid Mount Moriah, carrying a massive load of wood strapped across my shoulders, and why? Because my old man says we gotta make a sacrifice up here. I mean, this totally stinks." -Isaac, from According to Isaac
According to Isaac is an imaginative retelling of the enigmatic Abraham/Isaac story from Genesis 22, but from a very different perspective-Isaac's.
In this version, Isaac is the storyteller. After a three-day journey across the harsh Judean landscape, they finally reach Mount Moriah. It's only when Isaac feels Abraham's blade across his throat that he realizes what Abraham has intended all along.
