Carly Tabor has spent the past six years relishing her role as a television news anchor, while also being a devoted wife and mother of two in Charleston, South Carolina.
After an abduction incident that nearly made her the sixth victim of a serial killer, Carly vowed to her husband, Dr. Austin Tabor, to steer clear of 'spooks'.
She honored her promise until a call from her friend, Deputy Coroner Brooke Armstrong, sought her assistance in uncovering the identities of bones discovered at Bethesda Academy, a private boys' school in Savannah, Georgia.
Carly soon finds herself entanbled in an eighteenth-century enigma, and a journey to the U.K. for a paranormal conference brings along unexpected spirits. She begins to question why she is being drawn into the spirits' past lives and reflects on her own sensitive abilities and their origins.
As Carly confronts the ultimate betrayal, her life takes a tragic turn, bringing her past hauntings full circle.
