What do you do if you're born on a cliff town with dystopian obligations for everyone at the age of thirteen? What then do you do if they train you to become an assassin and you are forced to kill those who try to run? You find a way, of course, to inadvertently trip and fall off the cliff and into the unknown world, just as twisted in different ways. And what if you are so brainwashed after years of being surrounded by craziness that you actually think of going back and miss it at times? What you know feels safe, even if it's messed up and wrong.
