Barton Shaw hosts one of the most popular podcasts in America. He is adamantly agnostic---religiously, culturally, and politically. The only thing sacred or safe from his withering satire, is the truth. But what happens when he is confronted with a truth he cannot believe? Barton Shaw burst onto the American podcast scene during an epidemic of anxiety. Truth had become a malleable instrument to be reshaped into a weapon. No one knew what to believe anymore.Shaw is a man on a mission to expose lies and champion truth, captivating his podcast audience with unabashed, cringingly opinionated commentary and satiric humor. An avowed agnostic, it is unsurprising that many of his targets are America's most influential Christian preachers. The irony is, his relentless accusation against them, is for deliberately concealing the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ. When Barton is violently entrapped in an isolated Appalachian community, he finds himself face-to-face with his polar opposite, a gentle soul who is the epitome of trust. Barton's armor of cynicism is breached, and both his career, and his life, radically change trajectory.Little does he know, he is about to become hopelessly entangled in a strand of intrigue woven throughout history, from the beginning to the end of time.Barton Shaw is the first book in The Lost Apostle Trilogy.
