An insightful look at a true grief journey through the eyes of a widow-and the daily electronic messages sent from a widower 1300 miles away.
Be Kind Be Still is a unique and rare book. This is a true story of a husband who asks his lifelong friend, a widower, just days before his passing to help his soon-to-be widow, a mother of nine, to navigate the overwhelming grief that was about to strike. It was challenging since Janet lived 1300 miles away and he barely knew her.
The communication started with a single text from Janet to Daniel on the day her husband passed. This book will take you on an emotional and spiritual journey and invites readers to witness firsthand their private and honest conversations, daily struggles, deep emotions, and ultimate transformation shared electronically by daily text and emails over several months. Daniel's sensitivity and understanding became a comfort Janet leaned on through her agony.
Their story is certain to connect with anyone who has experienced a loss of any kind. Not limited to grief, it testifies to the impact of one helping another to overcome her darkest days. Readers will appreciate how one who understands advances restoration.
