Better Covenant by Dramane Traore is a bold and Spirit-illuminated unveiling of the eternal covenant established through Jesus Christ. In this powerful and uncompromising work, Traore draws a clear and revelatory distinction between the old covenant, marked by shadows, distance, law, and mortality, and the better covenant-one founded not on commandments written in stone, but on the very nature of God written within the believer. The book proclaims that this covenant is not merely an improved system of religion, but the expression of an entirely new creation.
Through rich, scripture-saturated chapters, Traore explores themes such as union versus separation, nature versus law, Spirit versus letter, and immortality versus decay. The old covenant guided men externally, but could not transform them internally. The better covenant, Traore teaches, is not entered through effort or obedience, but through rebirth into the incorruptible life of Christ. It does not coexist with the old; it replaces it completely. In this covenant, the believer is no longer trying to reach God-they are born of Him. They do not approach the holy place-they are the holy place.
With profound insight and prophetic clarity, Traore announces that the veil is not only torn, but obsolete. The covenant is not a promise waiting to be fulfilled-it is a reality to be lived. Better Covenant is a declaration that sin, aging, separation, and striving have all been abolished, and in their place stands the risen life of the Son, shared by those who are born of Him. This book is not an invitation to try harder, but a call to awaken to who you already are in Christ.
