After abruptly quitting her job, single parent Jill Mason takes her eight-year-old daughter, Lizzie, on a ski vacation in Breckenridge, Colorado for a break from their home life in Virginia. She is committed to living a more spontaneous life with her daughter while embracing new challenges.
