Confidence and Coercion

Topher is a man on a mission: to deliver a petition to the Lady Jenny of Krakatoa in hopes that she would have her esteemed husband open a case on his behalf. All he has to do is leave a good enough impression on the lady for her to remember him long enough to recommend support. But as no plan survives first contact with the enemy, can Topher's plan survive first contact with the Lady? ------ This is same story as Influence and Infidelity but from the point of view of Topher. Both stories stand alone, and it does not matter in which order they are read. This version might be a little more clear why this is science fiction, but hopefully both will intrigue the reader to explore more of the System Elsewhere shared universe. This was written as a different take on both science fiction and romance. It really is for people who are looking for something that is not going to follow a specific trope.
