About

Photography is more than taking pictures, it's learning how to see!

Create. Click. Explore! The Young Photographer's Guide to Learning to See is an eight-week hands-on photography adventure created for children ages 7-10. Through playful challenges, creative projects and real photography practice, young photographers learn to slow down, look closer and discover the stories hiding in the world around them. No fancy camera is required. Children can participate with a phone, a point-and-shoot, DSLR or SLR camera as they explore camera skills, composition, perspective, macro photography, color, light and creative photographic techniques.

Each week combines easy to understand photography lessons with projects children can actually do. Along the way, young photographers complete challenges, reflect on what they've discovered, build their own photography vocabulary and earn achievement badges as their skills grow. Designed for families, homeschoolers, educators and curious young creators,

Create. Click. Explore! blends art, science and exploration into an introductory photography experience that encourages children to experiment rather than simply follow rules.
The experience is also designed to connect with the Create. Click. Explore! Companion App, extending the adventure with interactive activities, progress tracking, a digital photo journal, badges and a final gallery of the child's work.

Whether your child already loves taking pictures or is picking up a camera for the first time, Create. Click. Explore! helps them discover one of photography's most important lessons: All great photographs begin with learning to see.
