"FULFILLED is not a book only about hospice, nor is it simply about a chaplain's work in the hospice field. It is about what it means to be human together. At its heart, this work reminds us that, despite our diverse beliefs, backgrounds, and experiences, we are more alike than we realize." Dr. Shirlee E. Turner - Former Chief Medical Officer, The Denver Hospice FULFILLED transcends the boundaries of a traditional memoir, emerging as a poignant testament to the sacredness of life, the inherent worth of every individual, and the transformative power of working alongside others in their most vulnerable moments. Rev. Simbo shares his work's intimate and challenging encounters with raw honesty and deep compassion, offering spiritual guidance to patients in the twilight of their lives. His experiences provide insight into the complexities of grief, the importance of presence, and the power of faith-all while navigating the emotional toll of caring for hospice patients and their families.
