About
Welcome to the dark side of crafting with 40 unsettling projects from Gothorella, the beloved TikTok artist known for transforming trash into treasure and darkness into beauty. Here, soda cans become ribs, plastic bottles become skulls, hands jut from walls as candleholders, and donuts are made of flesh-because why not?
Every project has been written with the beginner in mind and primarily uses items that can be sourced around the house, making them as accessible as they are affordable. Readers will also love the wide variety of mediums-from painting, cutting, and gluing to more advanced artforms such as weaving, casting, and sculpting-giving them a fun, easy way to try out and hone different skills.
Complete with step-by-step images, suggestions for personalizing projects, and display tips, readers will have everything to create impressive pieces of art that will disturb their guests for years to come. Rachel Bennick is a retired propmaker and the artist behind the Gothorella brand on social media, where she posts process videos featuring her unapologetically weird crafts. She currently resides in King County, Washington.
