Affectionately considered an urban mashup of ABC's "A Million Little Things" and NBC's "This is Us", the stories of Markus, Brittney, Angel, Shay, and Maxine continue in this follow up to 2021's "Hard Conversations: Breadcrumbs to the Past". Each of them continues to grapple with and wrestle through the pain of their past and the choices of their present in an attempt to build drastically different futures than any of them imagined when they were kids. Confrontations that they have spent years avoiding demand attention. Will this confrontation help them heal or send them into a tailspin that unravels the few good relationships they have managed to hold on to? Only time will tell.
