Growing up in a world where sexual abuse, poverty, and pain are the norm, Tevin, just like any other American boy, has dreams and aspirations to be whatever he wants to be. Sadly, no one understands (not even his mother) because he wants to be... "she". Trying to be true to himself Tevin must learn to love himself before anyone else can love him. Once he accepts himself and becomes his alter ego Trina, her life is in a much happier place than it was when she was..." he". That's until she meets the man of her dreams (Pistol) and everything goes left because of the secrets that lie beneath.
