The great grandson of the famous Port of Philadelphia Constable Geoffrey Hunter carries on the family tradition of solving crimes and unmasking the guilty, but for this case his detective work must be carried out from a distance of 170 years! Our charming and laid-back raconteur wrote this mystery in 1920, but it's about a crime committed nearly two centuries earlier in England. Though separated from the crime scene and suspects by the Atlantic Ocean and 170 years, he manages to solve the murder case and exonerate the reputation of an honest and decent person, just like the Hunter men have done for generations.
