In and Out Like Cats at a Fair. What Did Samuel See? When Grammy Looked Away -Book 2 What would you say if you saw acrobatic cats and all the Chinese Zodiac animals at your State Fair?
Samuel's long-awaited trip to the State Fair has begun. Every fairground stall brings a different Chinese zodiac creature, from tiny rats to a giant dragon. Each ride carries an agile cat with incredible abilities to vanish. Will Grammy ever see these amazing cats? The posters promised: "All the creatures of the Chinese zodiac." There was no mention of disappearing cats! Written for parents, grandparents and families living in different households, it spans the distance between much loved children and grownups. If your far-away child wants a bedtime story, here is the perfect solution. Your youngster follows Samuel's Tale, at the front of the book, with full-page illustrations and simple repeated text, while you read the full story in Grammy's Tale, at the back of the book. Impossible happenings, engaging and rich, language-broadening vocabulary. Like the wonderful Pete The Cat books, by Eric Litwin, it is fun and educational with its predict-and-recall-storyline. An outstanding and versatile resource for parents, home educators and classroom teachers. What else can happen when a grandparent looks away? Watch out for Alex and Grampy in Book 3 of the series.
