The intention of the book is to heal, build, and strengthen marriages in a new world in which the institution of marriage faces numerous challenges that threaten its very survival, even within the Christian context. Given the strategic importance of marriage and family as the foundation of the church, the community, and the nation, the book places high premium, and rightly so, on God's principles and values that are, intended to nurture and protect marriage, especially among Christians.
