How far would you journey to find something true? Middle-aged and getting divorced, Kate Ibister retreats to the only thing that gives her any solace: work. It's a remote research assignment on Fair Isle that brings her back to her first, uncomplicated love for ornithology. That, she decides, is all she needs in her life. But it seems there is no escaping human love, especially in less than three square miles of island. When a runaway sheep brings Leigh Tait into her life, Kate wants nothing to do with the farmer. The Scotswoman is young, arrogant… and oh-so-irresistible. Little by little, Kate learns to embrace a new life that brings her back to the fundamentals of what once mattered so much to her. With a little help from sheep, birds, and an inquisitive dog, can she also learn to love again? Meadowlark is a lesbian romance novella about finding love, both inside and out!
