This collection has been a journey into homeless, mental and physical health, and self-discovery. Like the poems from my older collections, I try more than anything to give you a moment in time. My poems are not about revealing me but revealing you. I try to say here are the moments in time that you might not have been able to express. Or maybe it was a family member or friend who couldn't express it. I hope more than anything you walk away from this collection like you took part in this journey, and that it has enriched, enlighten, and empowers you.
