Nereus

In ancient Rome, a group of friends mourn the passing of Nereus the elder: Nereus the younger, Narcissus and Caeso. But Nereus' sister Paulina has a secret about a hidden scroll that leads to their world being turned upside down and to faith in a crucified man from Nazareth. Nereus vividly paints Rome in the mid-first century against the backdrop of the rise of Nero, the presence of Petrus (Peter) and Markos (Mark) in Rome and the great fire and the heartbreak of persecution.
