When Nina calls, Jerry answers - but this time, she doesn't show up.
Jerry Lockwood hasn't seen his old university friend in years when she rings out of the blue, urgently summoning him to Paris. But when she fails to appear at their arranged meeting point, Jerry finds himself attacked, interrogated - and rescued Nina's brother, Edward who fears for Nina's safety. Together they begin to search for her. Their only lead: an ancient manuscript she had been researching - a codex marked with occult symbols, steeped in a dark past and darker contents.
As they dig deeper, Jerry discovers that Nina's disappearance is no accident. Others are hunting for the same book, and Nina has gone to extraordinary lengths to keep it - and its secret - hidden. From shadowed Paris streets to dangerous encounters with those who will kill for the codex, Jerry must untangle a mystery that will test his courage, his loyalty, and what he thought he knew about his oldest friend.
Tense, atmospheric, and full of twists, Nina's Secret is a gripping thriller where the past bleeds into the present, and every answer only leads to another, more dangerous question.
