If evil came for your family, how far would you go to save them?
Shadrick Bengoade never paid much attention to the cults, even though they were getting so popular. Moloch, Baal, Asherah--it didn't matter who people worshiped; he barely went to church himself. He just wanted to be left alone. Some might call him complacent, but he enjoyed his simple job as a data analyst and quiet suburban life with his wife, Alina, and young daughter, Isla. But after a Baalist coworker files a discrimination complaint against him for not attending a cult celebration at work, Shad lands on the wrong side of Human Resources and is thrown into a weekend-long crucible where he'll battle the dark powers of the cults to save his family--and his life.
