Robert Henry captures actual comments from students' lives over his decades of teaching to show what life is really like in the classroom for teachers and for students. "Now That's Why I Got into Teaching" reminds educators of how they touch lives in what sometimes seems like a thankless job. Some teachers think this book should be required reading for anyone going into education as it is both poignant and light-hearted and focuses 100% of the students themselves in a way that books for teachers rarely do.
