In Sam Gemmill's new book, Open Plan Living, you will journey through the absurdities of a modern, sometimes brutal, life. Each chapter like a Hipstamatic snapshot of the isolation and neurosis of a very unlikely hero. At times very funny, it is also full of devastating sadness. Gemmill's book takes you through the life of a man on the edge, trying to balance compulsions and battle the repetition of certain male pathologies while attempting to maintain high standards for his life and those in it.
