Many believers long for a deeper connection with God-but often find themselves unsure how to get there. They pray, yet sometimes feel like they're speaking into the void, waiting for answers that never seem to come.
P.R.A.Y.™ - Petition, Repentance, Adoration, Yielding is more than a devotional. It is a prayer guide designed to enrich the reader's faith, strengthen their prayer life, and draw them into deeper fellowship with the Lord. This 52-chapter journey invites individuals to walk more closely with God in every season of life-and it was created for readers of all backgrounds and experiences.
Each chapter presents a focused Prayer Action-such as We Ask Him for Protection, We Yield to His Timing, or We Thank Him for Every Gift-aligned with one of four foundational themes of prayer. Whether the reader is seeking healing, offering praise, turning from sin, or surrendering their plans, P.R.A.Y. offers scriptural guidance, real-life reflections, and practical prompts to make each chapter personal and transformative. Every chapter includes biblical context, relatable examples, and a Prayer Action Response section for journaling, prayer, and reflection.
P.R.A.Y. is designed to help readers move beyond spiritual stagnation, develop a consistent rhythm of prayer, and trust God more deeply as they grow in faith and purpose.
This book is not presented as the only way to pray. Rather, it is the testimony of two believers-Ron and Andrea Stephenson-who are not ministers, but a married couple who have sought to walk with the Lord through every stage of life. Their journey of faith, while not perfect, has been marked by a sincere and growing commitment to prayer and spiritual growth. They created this book to share the prayer principles that have deepened their own walk with God, in hopes of guiding others who are also seeking a closer relationship with Him.
The book can be read weekly, daily, or at any pace the reader chooses. Each chapter stands alone and may be used as a devotional, a study guide, or a moment of personal retreat.
P.R.A.Y. is also ideal for group use. Whether in a Bible study, prayer group, ministry team, or with a close friend, each Prayer Action provides a starting point for meaningful discussion, shared encouragement, and collective growth.
For those seeking more from their prayer life-more focus, more peace, more spiritual depth-this book offers a powerful and accessible path forward.
Ron and Andrea Stephenson created this book out of their passion for prayer and their heart for helping others. They believe that every person has a unique journey with God, and it is their hope that P.R.A.Y.™ becomes a tool that leads many into a deeper, more intimate relationship with their Savior.
