Pork Rinds and Pumpkin Seeds is an offering of more of the urban poetic style Deeci brings with topics that include insightful flashbacks of growing up on the streets of Philadelphia. She addresses present issues with Sunrise Over Philly, and calls into question the future with On the Shoulders. This is a delightful mix of poetry that will make you laugh and hopefully touch your spirit.
