Your Life is a Series of Decisions. Are You Making the Ones That Last? We're told to keep our options open. We're taught that commitment is a trap and that "looking out for #1" is the only way to be happy. But in a world of endless swiping and temporary loyalties, why do we feel so incredibly empty?
Most of us are just living for the "dash"-that tiny line on a gravestone between our birth and our death. We're busy, we're tired, and we're numbing out the anxiety of an uncertain future with endless scrolling and consuming. We want our lives to matter, but we're afraid to take the risks that actually lead to meaning. We feel like "outsiders" in our own stories, stuck in a cycle of "bitter" seasons and "famine" moments.
It's time to stop playing it safe with the time you've been given. In Ruth: The Ruined are Redeemed, author Charlie Grimes takes you on a journey from the graveyards of Moab to the harvest fields of Bethlehem to show you that God is never doing just one thing in your life. Through the lens of an ancient widow who lost everything, you'll discover: • The Power of Hesed: Why fierce, "all-in" love is our most radical act of rebellion in a throwaway culture. • Purpose in the Mundane: How to find "God-sightings" in your "normal" daily grind. • Resting in the Risk: How to trade the "numbing out" of anxiety for the permanent security of Manoach.
Whether you feel ruined by your past or paralyzed by your future, the story of Ruth is proof that your Redeemer is reliable. Your "messy" decisions are the raw materials God uses to build an eternal legacy.
Don't just live for the dash. Live for the One who holds it. Are you ready to go all-in?
