Leadership is a journey. A wonderful one. We learn every step of the way. This book illustrates the 10 aspects that are more critical for anyone willing to exercise leadership. It also reveals a breakthrough methodology, the Spherical Leadership, to practice, improve on and put to work those 10 abilities in an effective and impactful manner.
In the understanding that our Sphere of Leadership is never perfect, is a work in progress, whose size and shape is unique as we are. And that we do not necessarily wish nor can lead anytime, anywhere, because we need to pick our battles, to decide when and in which ecosystems we deploy our influence.
Knowing that when we do it, we must feel always being the Protagonists and never the Victims of anything; that we have the obligation of thinking always Big in the sense of elevated and able to make a difference; that our Honor, meaning mission, values and goals in life, must be our true North, our guiding light in every decision; that only by being Strong, strengthening every day and overcoming our areas of insecurity we will succeed; that only expanding constantly the degrees of freedom and breaking the ropes that tie us, we will be Free enough to exercise our leadership; that falling on love with Fear will let us see its immense potential to awaken us and let us fail when needed; that to Save money, time and energy will enable us to address the unexpected, be true to our path and be generous with those around us; that Endure the pain is a must in order to be sustainable over time and reliable for others and our mission, by mastering our ability to Associate to others as a key; that Refreshing our soul and body with big doses of sense of humor, and meaningfully communicating instead of talking, will expand light around; and lastly, that being Curious, thoughtfully listening and carefully seeing, we will be able to constantly innovate, to change in our own terms and devotion, before being changed by external forces in undesired ways and directions.
