This is the 7th book in the Nic Thorn and his Associates Series.
The team continue to find stuff and sort stuff out. This time someone goes missing, a valuable car vanishes without a trace and a racing scam gathers pace.
One of Nic's school friends calls upon him to locate his missing wife; whilst this is not generally within the scope of what they do, it is too close to home for Nic not to be in the right place at the right time to investigate. Meantime a car vanishes without a trace, and a horse race is gathering pace, but will they be too late to save face?
