Since Thirteen

Ivy Sullivan likes her life quiet. Quiet mornings in her sunlit kitchen, her cats glaring judgmentally from the windowsill, and her best friend Nick Constantinides dropping by just often enough to keep things interesting, preferably without tracking mud across her clean floor.Nick likes things loud: construction sites, football games, and teasing Ivy until she rolls her eyes and calls him insufferable. They've been best friends since middle school, which means he knows exactly how she takes her tea, how to make her laugh until she snorts, and how to drive her completely insane. But when one too-many charged moments turn their usual banter into something that feels a little too much like flirting, Ivy starts to realize there's a problem. She might be falling for her best friend. Now there are harvest festivals, family dinners, and late-night kitchen repairs that all seem to end with Ivy's pulse racing and Nick looking at her like she's more than just the girl next door. And if she doesn't figure out what to do soon, their perfect friendship might turn into something totally, terrifyingly different. Something that might just be love.Full of laughter, small-town charm, and sizzling chemistry, Since Thirteen is a story about what happens when the person who's had your heart since you were thirteen might finally be ready to keep it forever. Before publishing her first novel, The Jezebel's Daughter, Juliet MacLeod worked as a web designer, a 411 operator, and an on-air radio DJ. When not slaving away over a hot keyboard, Juliet enjoys reading, watching films (her favorites are The Princess Bride and PS-I Love You), napping with her dog, and listening to music. She has an unhealthy obsession with Benedict Cumberbatch's cheekbones and Jason Statham's smile.
