About

The Cycle is a journey through the endless turning of the natural world and the quiet transformations hidden within it.

Through a collection of interconnected micro-poems, Kristina Zill follows the year from spring's first fragile awakening through the golden abundance of summer, autumn's graceful surrender, and winter's deep, necessary rest. Each poem flows into the next through vivid imagery and metaphor-blossoms become fruit, sunlight becomes fire, leaves become earth, and snow becomes water-until the final days of winter lead once more toward the promise of spring.

But The Cycle is about more than changing seasons. Beneath its flowers, thunderstorms, falling leaves, and frozen fields lies a reflection on the seasons we experience within ourselves: beginnings and growth, passion and abundance, loss and letting go, stillness and healing.

Tender and contemplative, The Cycle invites readers to find beauty not only in blooming, but also in changing, releasing, and resting. It is a reminder that an ending does not always mean something is gone. Sometimes, it is simply becoming something new.

Because even beneath the deepest frost, something is waiting to grow.
