What happens in the hospital stays in the hospital, or people get killed.
Dr. Donald Strader is an old-school clinician who isn't afraid to raise hell when his colleagues drop the ball. But when he witnesses a negligent death in a local hospital, he makes too much noise, and powerful enemies.
With a hospital CEO willing to do anything to cover up the mistake and a Columbo-like malpractice attorney determined to make someone pay, Strader must turn to unlikely allies to defend his reputation, his career, and even his life.
In addition to his attorney daughter, his estranged son, and a poker-playing internist, Dr. Strader has the truth on his side. But with the ruthless power of the hospital deployed against him and time running out, the truth may not be enough.
