About

Noah was so excited. He was finally going to do his 50th parkrun and would earn the right to wear the bright red Milestone t-shirt. He wanted his whole family there to celebrate with him… And that included Great-Grandma Nellie, even though she was 89 years old! Noah begged her to do it. The old lady hesitated. She started making excuses. It was too early. It was too warm. How could she possibly do 5k at her age? She couldn't run anymore. But just to make her grandson happy, she agreed to do her first ever parkrun… just for him… and just once.

The next Saturday morning, the family brought her to their local parkrun. She saw Milestone shirts everywhere. No wonder Noah wanted one. As they gathered together, she looked around at all the happy faces, trying to listen to the announcer over all the chatter.

Just then, someone nudged her. Nellie slowly turned her head. She couldn't believe her eyes. Could it REALLY be who she thought it was???
