THE FORBIDDEN GEIS Perfection is the sharpest kind of chain. Across the elder ages of Mórradún, mortals did not bargain for power alone. They bargained for permanence-for the fatal comfort of a world without grief, flaw, or change. In doing so, they invited Sable, the Deceiver: a presence that speaks in the language of mercy and delivers its gifts with a smile. The Forbidden Geis is a mythic anthology of warnings, gathered and recorded by Lirian Ever-Weaver, chronicler of forgotten oaths and broken bargains. These are not heroic legends meant to inspire, but confessions set down too late-accounts of what happens when the desire for perfection outweighs the cost of living. Within these pages, readers will encounter: • The Hollow-Faced, who traded their true selves for a flawless reflection • The Tide-Moon's Oath, whose promise drowned an entire city • The Queen Weaver, whose ambition bound her bloodline in a loveless accord • And other quiet, devastating reckonings etched in ink and memory Each tale stands alone, yet together they form a cycle of seven curses and one fragile mercy-stories bound by a single truth: oaths do not fade simply because the world wishes them forgotten. Written in a lyrical, restrained voice inspired by Celtic myth and oral tradition, The Forbidden Geis reads like a recovered manuscript-part parable, part lament, part ritual object. It is a companion volume to The Fianna Chronicles, but can be read independently as a meditation on legacy, temptation, and the price of stillness. These are not stories meant to comfort. They are meant to remind. The ink that writes his name does not dry. It waits for you.
