About
In a future city that worships perfection, Koinon measures every thought, every breath, every heartbeat in the language of algorithms. Efficiency is sacred. Emotion is obsolete. But when a quiet repair technician named Ferol rediscovers the ancient art of listening, the balance begins to shift. Joined by a small circle of friends-a cartographer who maps compassion, a cook who feeds rebellion, a dancer who turns movement into prayer, a lawkeeper who bends rules for mercy, and an engineer torn between love and logic-they awaken the city's buried humanity.Their defiance ripples through time, echoing centuries later when a new generation must learn to live in harmony with the earth itself. The Forgotten Talents is a lyrical science-fiction parable about art, empathy, and the music of human connection-a meditation on what it means to be alive in an age that has forgotten how to feel. This is my debut as a novelist. I am originally from San Diego, California and now reside in Pensacola, Florida. Due to a catastrophic injury in 2014, I was unable to resume my career in the food and beverage industry and spend my time engaged in artistic endeavors.
