A lighthouse. A hidden journal. And a love story waiting to be set free. Josh O'Brien has finally found where he belongs-in Ireland, surrounded by the warmth of his adopted family. But when a vindictive ex threatens to tear it all away, he faces a return to the trauma of his past. Then the beautiful, wickedly smart Madeline Nagle offers him an unexpected lifeline: a marriage of convenience. What starts as a desperate solution soon becomes something neither of them expected. Stationed at a remote lighthouse off the Irish coast, Josh and Madeline begin experiencing things they can't explain. Then they discover hidden journals from 1845, and a woman's story that was never meant to be found. As past and present collide, Josh and Madeline must uncover the truth… before the darkness that lingers here consumes them both. A sweeping dual-timeline romance about healing, found family, and love that defies time itself. Perfect for fans of Jean Grainger and Tricia O'Malley. Stacey has this way of always hooking you into the story and just doesn't let go until the end." Reader review, 5 stars "I was so enthralled throughout the whole book... It made tears fall at times.
