The Phantom of the Rocking R is a fictional story of ranching in western North Dakota. Matthew Kaiser set out on his adventure to the North Dakota Badlands in the spring of 1892. A century later, his great-grandson Joe takes over the same ranch, with the mystery of the Phantom.
